Memorial Day tasks

A little after noon:
Painting this morning. 2 ½ doors so far. I finally got tired of the stains. Fingerprints marks and unexplained knee-high stains that I was willing to blame on closet gnomes. Imagine. Gnomes bursting out of the closets after I left for work in the morning. That is until I find a DIY website that mentions that Kilz is fine for covering up pet stains before painting. And I remember that the couple before me had 3 or 4 bulldogs that they kept inside. Heavens! Now I am speckled with primer and white paint. Since I am not seeking the pallor of Victorian novels, I think that I am finished for today. I have done the homeowner/housewife thing. (Without being a wife even!) I am ready for more interesting work.
