Friday musings

French Quarter Fest and Jazz Fest have come along at the right time.  I have been entranced by Israeli and Jewish music for the last few weeks.  (Ah, Sheva!  Sing “A New Song” for me yet again.  I cannot get enough.)  

Time to rebuild/promote/recharge other parts of my personality.  Time for some Freddy Omar, time for some Earth, Wind, and Fire.  Time for some Walter Payton, Irvin Mayfield and Astral Project.  Home music has its own entrancing powers.
