post Christmas

ezekielsdaughterChristmas was…not working for a day. I worked Christmas Eve and half a day today.
Christmas was taking the ferry over the river and playing with my new telephoto lens—a gift to myself. Although, I think that my brother is right. I should have purchased the wide angle lens instead. We’ll see. I would really like a close up lens, but I don’t know if one is available for my camera.
Christmas was working out in the gym and NOBODY was there, so I could play the music that I wanted or work out to pure silence.
Christmas was Chinese food and a movie with Krewe de Jieux, which turned out to be just L.J. Which was fine. I got to hear tales of his recent trip to the Middle East. We went to see Benjamin Button, which was probably too long but I enjoyed it. Sirens outside and police chasing kids through the theatre in the last 3rd of the move. I kid you not. This morning I heard on the news that there was a fight amongst the teens in the parking lot and the police were called. I could say that there was a riot outside and we missed it, but I would be exaggerating. All in all, a good day. I guess that I will have to rejoin society now. I need to deliver a few presents.
