The week is almost over and how much writing have I done?  Not much.  I've been the official babysitter and it has been more important to amuse my eleven-year old niece.  This after reading a chapter in Delany's book saying that a writer writes--regardless of relationships, family and other obligations. 

I did work on a poem yesterday, does that count?
